In Memory of Steven A. Martinez

Steven A Martinez, 23, was born February 11, 1986 in Houston, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior while surrounded by his beloved family on December 02, 2009. He is survived by (Mother) Rosa N. Tamez, (Father) Samuel M Martinez and wife Adel, (Sister) Christina Marie Martinez, (Grandfather) Gonzalo E. Tamez, and the Tamez and Martinez families.

Steven graduated from Pasadena High School in 2004. He attended San Jacinto College and became a Pasadena Firefighter. Steven was a Precinct 6 dispatcher for Constable Trevino and, in 2006, he joined the Harris County Sherriff’s Office. He was an active member of the Mexican American Sherriff’s Organization and was detrimental in Sherriff Garcia and Council member Gonzales’ campaign. Steven loved to fish, hunt and play golf.
